The classroom of ornamentation is the largest
classroom in the school. It is composed of twenty four stations,
every one being furnished with each and every tool necessary.Every
student will be assigned a post that will remain theirs for
the entire duration of the course.

All materials and tools from brushes to
colors are of high quality; this will guarantee the best results
on every occasion. Each station is composed of; a pottery
wheel, vertical pioggiapiatti, 8 brushes of various sizes,
and colors of a wide assortment.

The classroom for “Mould Constructions” and "Throw Wheel"
is equipped with four pottery wheels. Here, students will
learn the various techniques of this Art. Every tool provided
for the student, is highly professional-- from iron instruments
to lathes, (which are from last epoch), but have maintained
their classic characteristics nonetheless.

Placed at your disposition, are the best
materials for producing various artifacts. It’s quite
possible to create works with the coil-built technique, slabs,
and moulds. Materials used are; Gres, porcelain, red earth,
Pyrex, earthenware or crockery, soft porcelain, and fire resistance
materials. Each finished work remains the property of the
apprentice.

In the classroom, students are taught each
and every technique in the manufacturing of ceramics. Starting
with the technological processes of ceramic mixtures (various
types of earth), the various baking methods and time intervals,
(1°, 2° & 3° baking), the various types of
enamel and compositions, enameling processes, and decoration.
The story of ceramic art will also be taught. Theoretic-practices
of polishing technology from the 16th century- 20th century..
Reductions, Rakuyaki or Raku, Bucchero (an Etruscan Ceramic),
etc..
